SANTO DOMINGO. – El Director General de Migraci\u00f3n, Vicealmirante Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, ARD., afirma que la instituci\u00f3n que lidera junto a las fuerzas de seguridad y de defensa del Estado dominicano, enfrentan a diario las mafias que se lucran facilitando el reingreso de haitianos que han sido deportados a su pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se trata de un tema recurrente \u2014explic\u00f3\u2014 con el cual lidian todas las instituciones involucradas en esta responsabilidad compartida con Migraci\u00f3n y que uno de los principales objetivos de su gesti\u00f3n al frente de la DGM, es \u201ctransformar la conducta de quienes tienen a su cargo la vigilancia del territorio nacional\u201d, para centrarse en servir a los mejores intereses nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con un promedio diario de unas mil personas detenidas en operaciones conjuntas de interdicci\u00f3n a nivel nacional, con el apoyo del Ministerio de Defensa, el Ej\u00e9rcito de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, el Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre (CESFRONT) y la Polic\u00eda Nacional, se ha logrado m\u00e1s de un 75% de la meta planteada por el Consejo Nacional de Seguridad, de lograr unas 10 mil deportaciones semanales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este lunes 27 de abril, se registraron un total de 1,072 detenidos y 806 deportados. Estas acciones se distribuyeron en puntos estrat\u00e9gicos, destacando la interdicci\u00f3n de 123 personas en la zona de Santo Domingo, San Crist\u00f3bal y Monte Plata, as\u00ed como 102 en la regi\u00f3n de La Vega, Duarte y Nagua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el pasado fin de semana, la DGM detuvo a 2,889 y deport\u00f3 a 2,506 extranjeros en condici\u00f3n migratoria irregular durante los d\u00edas viernes 24, s\u00e1bado 25 y domingo 26 de abril de 2026, en operativos realizados en todas las provincias del pa\u00eds. El viernes 24 de abril se detuvieron 1,094 personas y se deportaron 807; el s\u00e1bado 25 de abril se registr\u00f3 la detenci\u00f3n de 1,096 personas y deportaron 840 y el domingo 26 de abril fueron detenidas 699 personas y deportadas 859, siguiendo los protocolos establecidos, por los puntos de control fronterizo en Dajab\u00f3n, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Jiman\u00ed y Pedernales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
