LA ONAMET<\/strong> monitorea un potencial cicl\u00f3n tropical, el cual se ubica a unos 415 kil\u00f3metros al oeste\/suroeste de Kingston, Jamaica, posee vientos m\u00e1ximos sostenidos de hasta 55 kph y se desplaza hacia el noreste a una velocidad de 17 kph. Se pronostica que este fen\u00f3meno evolucione a tormenta tropical ma\u00f1ana s\u00e1bado. Se recomienda<\/strong> estar atentos a las pr\u00f3ximas informaciones que emite <\/strong>la ONAME<\/strong>T<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy, desde la madrugada se han producido aguaceros con tormentas el\u00e9ctricas y r\u00e1fagas de viento sobre provincias del litoral caribe\u00f1o como Pedernales, Barahona, Azua, Peravia, San Crist\u00f3bal y El Gran Santo Domingo (incluyendo el Distrito Nacional), tambi\u00e9n en Bahoruco, San Juan, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a y San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa; se prev\u00e9 que a medida que avance el d\u00eda continuar\u00e1n ocurriendo, intensific\u00e1ndose como aguaceros moderados a fuertes y extendi\u00e9ndose a localidades de provincias como La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, Monte Plata, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Duarte, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, Hato Mayor, La Altagracia, entre otras, producto de la inestabilidad y humedad relacionada con el acercamiento del potencial cicl\u00f3n tropical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debido al incremento en las lluvias pronosticadas a partir de hoy, asociadas al potencial cicl\u00f3n tropical que se desplaza hacia el noreste, sobre aguas del Mar Caribe, la Oficina Nacional de Meteorolog\u00eda (ONAMET)<\/strong> modifica<\/strong> el nivel de ALERTA METEOROL\u00d3GICA<\/strong> ante la ocurrencia de crecidas de r\u00edos, arroyos y ca\u00f1adas, as\u00ed como inundaciones, tanto en \u00e1reas urbanas como rurales y riesgos de deslizamientos de tierra para las siguientes provincias:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
