Todos esos pacientes se deben trasplantar porque es la mejor terapia\u2019\u2019, dijo.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al ser entrevisto en el programa \u2018M\u00e1s Cerca\u2019 que se transmite por La Rocka 91.7 FM, bajo la conducci\u00f3n de Anibelca Rosario, Hansel Garc\u00eda, Marisol Mendoza, Vicente Bengoa, y Carlos del Pozo, lament\u00f3 que no exista en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana una cultura de donaci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos, raz\u00f3n principal por el que hay tantos pacientes a espera de un trasplante.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bengoa, revel\u00f3 que en el pa\u00eds los trasplantes de ri\u00f1\u00f3n desde el 2020 y a ra\u00edz de la pandemia del COVID-19, disminuyeron considerablemente, llegando a ser el n\u00famero menor de 30 en el a\u00f1o 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u2019En el 2020 lleg\u00f3 el COVID y eso hizo que bajemos. En el a\u00f1o 2021 hicimos 45, en el 2022 hicimos 29, estamos volviendo a subir, nos estamos recuperando a nivel p\u00fablico\u2019\u2019.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ese sentido dijo que hasta el 2018 se realizaban un promedio de 50 a 55 trasplantes de ri\u00f1\u00f3n por a\u00f1o, llegando a elevarse ese n\u00famero en 2019 con un total de 86, esto con el apoyo de campa\u00f1as de concientizaci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hizo un llamado a la poblaci\u00f3n dominicana, a realizar un gesto de amor, y a fomentar la cultura de donaci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos, porque esta acci\u00f3n puede salvar ocho vidas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indic\u00f3 que mediante la resoluci\u00f3n 533-01, el trasplante en el pa\u00eds est\u00e1 cubierto en su totalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana ha habido un avance muy importante; est\u00e1 cubierto el transplante a un 100%, tanto para senasa, como para senasa contributivo\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cM\u00e1s Cerca\u201d es una revista informativa que se transmite de lunes a viernes a las 7:00 de la noche por La Rocka 91.7 FM, Ruta 66 TV, Tele Cibao HD canal 118\/ Wind Tveo, Vega TV, Circuito Tele-Duarte canal 49.
