Wainwright, nominado por los Cardenales de San Luis, es el sexto Cardenal en conseguir el premio, la mayor cantidad para un equipo de MLB, uni\u00e9ndose a los miembros del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama Lou Brock (1975) y Ozzie Smith (1995), al igual que el dominicano Albert Pujols (2008) y los puertorrique\u00f1os Carlos Beltr\u00e1n (2013) y Yadier Molina (2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El comisionado de B\u00e9isbol, Rob Manfred Jr., anunci\u00f3 oficialmente al ganador durante la primera entrega especial del Premio Roberto Clemente a trav\u00e9s de MLB Network en el Estudio 21 en Secaucus, Nueva Jersey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wainwright hab\u00eda sido nominado previamente para el Premio Roberto Clemente por los Cardenales entre 2014 y 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre lo m\u00e1s destacado est\u00e1 lo siguiente:<br>La construcci\u00f3n de la escuela secundaria Ferrier Village de Hait\u00ed, que abri\u00f3 sus puertas para el a\u00f1o escolar 2019-2020. Tambi\u00e9n se asoci\u00f3 con Water Mission para construir un sistema de agua potable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Honduras, BLI fund\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n de un sistema de mantenimiento de agua limpia, que sirve a m\u00e1s 15,000 personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Etiop\u00eda, su viaje como misionero llev\u00f3 a la compra de una parcela de 11 acres, donde ahora est\u00e1 una cl\u00ednica y una granja de leche y agr\u00edcola.
